Sigh… Last week I was supposed to post what happened during my trip to Palawan but then just when I was about to finish it the electricity died! >:( Well, I could blame BATELEC all I want but I guess it’s my fault as well for not saving my work when I had no UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply for the not so computer savvy people out there) Anyways, I won’t redo that topic again since it was basically just me ranting on and on about how great it was, etc…
So as the title says, the topic now is going back to school… It’s that time of the year again where students get all excited that they’re finally gonna get an allowance and they can buy the necessary stuff for the upcoming school year. Hmm… I never really enjoyed going back to school that much. I guess it’s cause I’m never really motivated to study in the first place. Haha… Don’t get me wrong, I do feel grateful that I even get the chance to study and I definitely won’t fail my subjects since I’m in the last stretch of my college years. But I just don’t get hyped up about that new classmates, subjects, friends that others look forward to. I guess in the future I might regret not living my academic life to the fullest… But then again I might not… In the words of one of my classmate "come what may na lang" ^_^;

Whew… Just had another awesome "Magic night" here in my house yesterday. What is magic night you ask? No, it’s not the "pull a rabbit out of the hat" type of magic but rather it’s us playing Magic: The Gathering cards overnight in a tournament of sorts… For you gamblers out there it’s kinda like poker night, with a lot more thought required.
So it was me, Don Perry, Emmanuel, and my lil bro Merbert duking it out with a lot of good natured trash talk and joking mixed in between. This meant of course that we ended up staying awake til morning and after parting ways, I slept for 10 hours straight! Damn, getting mentally and physically exhausted shouldn’t be this fun but it is…
By the way, it was Merbert’s birthday today so being the "good" brother that I am, it was kinda funny to know that he spent half of his special day wasted in bed. Haha…
So… Doing this for almost 3 years now, I can’t help but wonder how long we’ll be able to keep this tradition of ours. In the following years we’d probably finally give in to our responsibility as working adults and trade in our overnight fun for overtime with work…
"Boy’s night out" or whatever you want to call it, sometimes it’s just fun to do stuff with your buddies and not care bout the "real world" for a while right? So my question this time is not for myself but for you guys who are reading this… What are the things you’re gonna miss doing when you start living your adult life?

Hmm… So I finally got around to making my very own blog. Yay for me! Somebody give me a hug… Anyways, after thinking a while (about 5 mins) about what I’d like to say in this momentous occasion, I finally decided that I’d just talk as if I’d been blogging all this time. So in simple terms: I’m not stating my reason for starting this blog, I’m not gonna discuss a "special" topic near and dear to me or stuff like that… I’ll just write the first thing that comes to mind.
Ok… To start off, it’s about midnight right now and I just got home a while ago from watching Spiderman 3 at Robinson’s Lipa. The movie was pretty entertaining, mostly because I was watching it with my little brother and as usual we’d have the same remark about a particular incident. I’d cite an example but then I’d be spoiling the fun for those who haven’t watched the movie yet. So about halfway through the film, the character Eddie Brock Jr. get introduced and I couldn’t help but feel that I know the actor from another movie or show (don’t really know a lot of celebrities especially local ones). Turns out, that guy played Erik Foreman on the sitcom That 70’s Show which I get to watch on cable from time to time. The point of all that as you’re all probably wondering, is that even though I didn’t remember who he was while I was watching the film, I just felt that somehow Venom - the character he played in the movie - didn’t feel all that evil and villainous (if you’d ever seen an episode of That 70’s Show you’d know why).
Anyway, before this turns into a bad attempt at a movie review the question I had for the day was "What would I do if I had super powers?" Well, I thought of a lot of possibilities but found out that somehow they were all invariably up to no good! Haha… Maybe it’s just me but I think doing good isn’t much of a priority if someone had superpowers. For example, if you were suddenly given x-ray vision what would you think of doing first? I’d like to believe you’d think of helping someone find their lost things right but we know otherwise…
It’s not that I wouldn’t think of being a superhero, but If I was suddenly able to fly I’d probably go visit another country first and then maybe go save someone falling from a building - preferably a cute girl who’ll fall in love with me at first sight (hey, in that reality I already have super powers so anything’s possible)
Wow, time flies fast when you’re writing random things… It’s already past 1:00 and I gotta wake up early tomorrow so it ends here for now. Comments or criticism are welcome since you actually read all the whole thing. Haha… Later!
